Hello Everyone,
We have moved to Marsden from South Yorkshire (we lived in West Yorks prior to that!!!) and are renting Hey Croft, Waters Road. The owner is not sure when the house was built - or indeed anything about this row of houses - which seem quite unusually located. Can anyone help? Does anyone know anything aout the history of Hey Croft? Would be very grateful if you do. I hope to make some History Group meetings at some stage!! Thanks

Hello Cilla,
Sorry, not sure where Hey Crofts is. But one way to get a rough date is to check out the old Ordnance Survey maps which are in the Local History section of Huddersfield Library.
Do come along to the history meetings - the details are now listed on the board of the Mechanic. It is always nice to see new faces.
